- Always unplug the grill and allow it to cool before cleaning. The plates are easier to clean when still a bit warm but they must be well below the grilling temperature.
- Always clean the grill after each use.
- Remove the drip tray and wash in warm soapy water.
- Do not use metal or other abrasive cleaners or harsh detergents or cleansers to clean the drip tray.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly before replacing the tray in the grill.
- When cleaning the grill plates, do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive or harsh detergents or cleansers.
- Wash the cooking plates with a soft damp cloth using warm water and a mild cleaner.
- For stubborn residue, use a plastic washing pad or nylon brush.
- Do not submerge the grill in water.
- After washing, rinse and dry the cooking plates thoroughly.
