• Always remove the power plug from the wall outlet before cleaning.
  • Allow the sandwich maker to cool slightly before cleaning. Clean up will be easier if the grill is still a little warm as fillings and other items will come off warm plates much easier then completely cooled ones. However, the plates should never be hot to the touch when cleaning.
  • Always clean the sandwich maker after each use to prevent the build up of baked-on foods.
  • As the cooking plates are coated with a non-stick coating, wiping them with a soft damp cloth will clean them quickly.
  • If there is baked-on foods that a simply wiping will not remove, then brush with a little oil or melted butter and allow to stand for 5 minutes then wipe with a damp cloth.
