Your Breville Control Grip™ is a quality appliance. The best materials were used in making it, and it was carefully engineered to let you enjoy your stick blender for years to come.

However, as with any machine, it needs your care in order to operate as it is intended to. Please follow our care tips below.

Motor Body

  • Remove any attachments.
  • Wipe the motor body and cord with a damp cloth only, do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
  • Do not immerse the motor body in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not place the motor body in the dishwasher.

Blending Shaft

  • Remove the Blending Shaft from the motor body.
  • Use warm soapy water to wash the Blending Shaft carefully. Caution must be exercised as the blades are sharp.
  • The Blending Shaft can also be washed in the dishwasher on the top shelf.
  • For quick cleaning between processing tasks, with the motor base attached, the Blending Shaft can be placed into a jug of water to clean off any food particles. Press the trigger and allow the blade to run for 5 seconds for a quick rinse.

Chopping Bowl, Chopping Bowl Lid, Chopping Blade

  • Remove the Chopping Blade from the motor base.
  • The Chopping Bowl, Chopping Bowl Lid and Chopping Blade should be hand washed in hot soapy water.
  • Alternately, the Chopping Bowl and Chopping Blade can be washed in the dishwasher on the top shelf.
  • Do not wash the Chopping Bowl Lid in the dishwasher.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.

Whisk

  • Remove the Whisk from the motor body.
  • The Whisk can be hand washed in hot soapy water, rinsed and dried thoroughly after each use.
  • The Whisk can also be washed in the dishwasher on the top shelf.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.

Blending Jug and Storage Lid/Anti-Slip Mat

  • Remove the Storage Lid/Anti-Slip Mat from the Blending Jug.
  • The Blending Jug and Storage Lid/Anti-Slip Mat can be washed by hand in hot soapy water.
  • Rinse and dry both thoroughly.
  • Alternately, the Blending Jug and Storage Lid/Anti-Slip Mat can be washed in the dish washer on the top shelf.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
