• Before any cleaning is done, remove the plug from the wall outlet
  • Remove the mashing blade from the bottom of the mashing leg by turning the entire Multi Mash™ upside down and, holding firmly to the leg, turn the blade clockwise. Please note, this can only be done while the masher is still completely assembled.
  • Remove the variable mashing leg from the motor body by holding the mashing leg with one hand and the motor body below the grip. Press the two eject buttons on either side of the motor body and pull the motor body up away from the leg.
  • To remove food residue from the motor body and cord, wipe with a damp cloth only. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
  • Disassemble the mashing leg before cleaning to ensure that all food residue is removed.
  • Remove the gear box from the motor body.
  • Turn the masher leg to align the arrows and remove the inner and outer leg from the gear box.
  • Hold the outer let by the stem and the inner leg by the bottom and pull them apart to separate.
  • All parts can now be cleaned. The inner leg, outer leg and masher blade can be washed in warm soapy water, rinsed and dried thoroughly. Use ONLY a damp cloth to clean the motor body and gear box.
  • Alternately, the inner and outer legs can be washed in a dishwasher, on the top shelf only, through a standard wash cycle.
