• Always unplug the microwave before cleaning.
  • Wipe out the inside of the microwave after every use. Avoid the use of spray cleaners and other harsh cleaners as they may stain, streak, or dull the door surface.
  • When cleaning the inside cavity, remove the glass turntable and the turntable roller and wipe down the inside, including the depression that the roller sits in, with a soft damp cloth.
  • The turntable and turntable roller can be washed in warm soapy water then rinsed and dried thoroughly before replacing in the microwave.
  • It is important to keep the depression that the roller moves in clean. Any type of build up of food items, particles or residue can hinder the rolling or can cause excess noise when cooking.
  • The outside of the microwave should only be wiped down with a soft damp cloth. Using an over abundance of water can cause it to leak into the side vents and can damage internal components.
  • When cleaning the control panel, always leave the microwave door open to prevent accidentally turning it on.
  • It is difficult to avoid strong smells when cooking. If the microwave has a lingering odor, combine 1 cup of water with the juice of 1 lemon and microwave this on high for 5 minutes. Wipe the inside of the microwave cavity when done and dry with a soft cloth.
