• It is very important that all safety instructions in the instruction book be read thoroughly before operating the microwave.
  • Do not use an adaptor plug with the microwave.
  • Do not remove the legs from the bottom of the microwave.
  • This microwave may NOT be placed in a cabinet or enclosure.
  • If the START button is not pressed to confirm the hours and/or minutes for setting the clock, or for setting the ‘BEEP’ alert volume, after 1 minute, the settings will be automatically confirmed.
  • If a weighted item is selected, for example, the potato selection under SMART COOK, the ‘INPUT QUANTITY’ is in weight, defaulting to ‘grams’ or ‘g’. If the ‘UNITS g or oz’ is selected the weight will then be displayed in ounces.
  • Adjusting the power level while heating will not affect the time. The power bar will reflect the cooking power level except in programs where variable power levels are used.
  • While the microwave is heating or defrosting, time can be increased or decreased. Adjusting the heating time does not affect selected weight or quantity.
  • If ‘A BIT MORE’® is pressed during the heating process, it will increase the heating time. The added time will vary depending on the setting.
  • If the ‘A BIT MORE’® button is pressed prior to starting any heating cycle, the microwave will immediately start cooking.
  • There are selections that provide the instruction to ‘Cover but don’t seal’. This means to cover with a microwave safe vented lid or vented plastic wrap.
  • The FAVORITE setting will retain the information put into it until it is changed. One setting at a time can be saved to the FAVORITE setting but it can be changed as often as preferred.
  • Specifically when making popcorn, do not leave the microwave unattended. The popping times that are set in the microwave are a guide but depending on any special flavors, additives, or the power level that the popcorn is being cooked on, the time may be a bit long or a bit short. Listen for the popcorn to slow enough that 2 to 3 seconds go by between pops. At that time the popcorn should be done.
  • The ‘MELT CHOCOLATE’ feature is designed for use with Dark Chocolate only.
  • The ‘SOFTEN BUTTON’ feature is designed to soften butter taken directly from the refrigerator. The butter will be soft enough to easily press a finger into the center but it will not be melted.
