• Remove the plug from the outlet before cleaning.
  • Keep the inside of the microwave for optimal operation. Wipe off all food splatters or spills with a soft damp cloth immediately.
  • Do not clean the metal inside or out with scouring pads. The exterior of the microwave can be scratched and pieces of the pad can come off the pad and remain inside the microwave when it is next used, causing a very increased risk of electrical shock or damage to the microwave.
  • When cleaning the surfaces where the door and oven come together, only use non-abrasive cleaning agents, soaps or detergents applied with a soft cloth or sponge. The use of harsh, abrasive or corrosive cleansers can cause damage the the surfaces and potentially cause a radiation leak.
  • Use only mild detergent when cleaning the cavity and apply only with a soft cloth or sponge. The use of an abrasive cleanser or a spray cleanser may cause staining, streaking or a dulling of the door surface.
  • Do not allow the control panel to become wet. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. When cleaning the control panel, leave the microwave oven door open to prevent it from accidentally turning on.
  • Steam can accumulate inside or abound the outside of the oven door. Wipe this dry with a soft dry cloth. This can occur when the microwave is being operated under humid conditions and this is very common and normal.
  • The turntable roller and microwave oven floor should be cleaned regularly to ensure the turntable rotates smoothly. Simply wipe the bottom surface of the turntable with a soft damp cloth. Wash the turntable roller in mild soapy water, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
  • The Crisper Pan can be washed on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Alternatively wash the pan in warm soapy water, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
  • If needed, the legs of the Crisper Pan can be removed by pinching inwards on the widest part of the leg and pull away from the leg housing. Replace the same way, pinching the widest part and sliding back into the leg housing.
  • Odors can be removed from the microwave oven by combining 1 cup of water with the juice of one whole lemon in a deep microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Wipe the microwave cavity dry with a soft cloth.
