• Water treated by a ‘water softener’ will have increased mineral content and can hinder the performance of the brewer. We recommend the use of filtered or bottled water with the brewer.
  • The brewer will take about 4 minutes to heat up from being off when first starting it.
  • If the water tank is empty or not completely in place on the brewer, the water tank LED will flash and the LCD screen will indicate ‘REFILL TANK’. None of the control panel buttons will be active until water has been added to the tank and/or it is fully in place on the brewer.
  • If the ‘BREW’ button is not pressed within 60 seconds of closing the brew head, the LCD screen will indicate ‘OPEN HEAD’ and the ‘BREW’ button will be disabled to prevent accidental activation. To re-activate the brew sequence, open the brew head by raising and lowering the Safety Locking Arm completely.
  • There are two sharp needled that puncture the K-Cup® on the top and bottom of the brew chamber. Do not put fingers into the brewing chamber or the K-Cup® holder.
  • 1 level scoop of the My K-Cup® Measuring Scoop = 2 tablespoons. This is the recommended amount for the small 7.25 oz cup.
  • Do not use a K-Cup® or coffee pod in the My K-Cup® Filter Basket. Do not use the My K-Cup® Filter Basket with the K-Cup® Holder. After brewing with the My K-Cup® accessory, the K-Cup® Holder must be inserted into the brewing chamber in order to brew a K-Cup®.
  • If the power is interrupted to the Brewer, the clock will need to be reset. Programmed brew sized and brew temperature settings are remembered and restored automatically.
