• The water filter should be replaced every 2 months or 60 tanks.
  • If the brewer has been exposed to temperatures below freezing, allow the brewer at least two hours to reach room temperature before priming.
  • If the water tank is empty or not fully in place on the brewer, the water tanks LED will flash and the LCD screen will indicate ‘REFILL TANK’. None of the control panel buttons will be functional.
  • If the ‘BREW’ button is not pressed in 60 seconds of the LCD reading ‘READY TO BREW’, the LCD will change to read ‘OPEN HEAD’ and the ‘BREW’ button will be disabled.
  • There is extremely hot water in the brew head during the brewing process. Do not raise the safety locking arm or open the brewing chamber during the brewing process.
  • One level scoop of coffee with the Measuring Scoop is equal to 2 tablespoons.
  • Do not use a K-Cup® or a coffee pod inside the My K-Cup® holder. It is designed for loose ground coffee only.
  • If you need to interrupt a brew cycle, immediately after, remove the K-Cup®, place an empty mug beneath the brew head, close the brew head with no K-Cup® inside and brew a cup of hot water. Discard the water when the brewing is complete.
  • The clock must be set if using the ‘ON-OFF TIME’ feature.
  • If power is interrupted, the clock will need to be reset. The brew size and brew temperature are remembered and will be storied automatically. All other settings will be restored automatically as well once the clock is reset.
  • When using the brewer at higher altitudes (over 5,000 feet) if boiler occurs, use the BREW TEMP top lower the brewing temperature to a more comfortable level.
